Shame I couldn't give it zero stars. It is really hard to use, no one wants to accept it. I ended up using it to buy lunches at m&s. Then the robbery kicked in, the card has a date on the front but it means nothing as they start to take nearly a pound a month off you after just 18 months.

Just bought a digital card for someone’s birthday. It details it will be available in 24 hours. 24 hours later, i.e the persons birthday. No e card to send on. Called customer services and probed off. Call complaints team, they said I will receive a response within 1-3 days. Great. Missed the birthday. What rubbish service

Absolutely nightmare system!
I bought 8 cards in person.
One of the cards turned out to be empty, probably human error at the post office.
I was already down on money but bought a digital card online to replace the one I bought in person that didn't work. The website is absolutely awful and kept telling me that the transaction hadn't gone through so I kept trying. They had in fact gone through. I ended up with 4 of these digital cards. Took an age to get through to customer service. It will take more than 10 days to get a refund on the cards that I was charged due to their website giving me the wrong information. Oh and which digital card can I actually send? The guy had no idea and I will just have to wait. I will NEVER EVER EVER use this awful company again.

To anyone thinking of using these as a gift card please stop... These are worse than useless to a recipient as the limited and often unwilling shops that supposedly accept them are limited. Further after a year, they start making monthly charges. For me, because of lockdowns and isolating, I could not get to the shop to spend my Christmas gift card and now I find it worth less than half the value of the gift card paid by my friend.
He is livid over this and vowed never to use this scam again.... I urge all of you to do the same....
If you want to give gift that's flexible, accepted everywhere and never runs out of value, just put currency in note(s) with a nice thank you or gift card. I know not everyone has time to shop for suitable gifts for friends and family but one4all is a scam. Giving a real cash value makes much more sense and is better appreciated.

update 20/5/22... After receiving their standard reply to my review they said they would refund the taken funds. Checking today 20/7/22 it appears they have applied the refund. So in fairness and to keep this review accurate I pass on this information to others.
It does not however negate my feeling towards these cards as a means of giving to friends , family and others.

Absolute garbage. Digital card received from employer does not show on my online account. Using the app I can see its there but cannot see the card number...they eye icon says authentication failed. Instructions of how to view on website do not work...would not recommend at all. Customer service phone no shown online does not work..terrible service

I've been receiving gift cards from work and they are totally useless. They don't load on the app, so it's as if you didn't have anything. Totally disappointed, frustrated !

The card does not work. This is not something you can trust. Do not buy!!

Completely stupid! Awful and pointless. Do not buy! Can't amalgamate (means merging of cards easily) the app is crap... You can't use it as part payment online completely ridiculous! Whatever you buy has to be the correct amount or less!!! You can't top up... Also they start charging you for having the card!!! Rip off! Scoundrels! Scumbags. DO NOT BOTHER!!!

Whatever you do don’t buy a one for all card. I’ve been trying to spend both of mine for months now and the transaction always fails. Meanwhile One4all deducts administration charges (despite not doing any administration) and the value of the cards are continually reducing. If you buy this card as a gift, you are simply gifting One4all and causing stress to whoever you’ve gifted the card.

My daughter was bought a gift card for Xmas hadn’t used it as she had waited for the pandemic to be over as the shop she wanted to spend it in wasn’t open and didn’t do online shock horror went in to shop to find out the balance had gone right down due to them taking 0,90p every month how’s that fair when it wasn’t there money to start with but a gift for her told everyone that buys these cards not to but then for them again .

I was given a £25 One4all gift card and was waiting to use it in a particular store but this has proved difficult due to stores closing due to the Covid pandemic.
I have checked the balance on this card and was shocked to find it is £7.90, as One4all have been deducting an"inactive balance charge". I had no knowledge of this charge and think it is very unfair. I have contacted Customer Services regarding this but have had no reply. I have given One4all gift cards as gifts but will not be purchasing them again.

Trying to use this gift card is a completely insufferable process. They clearly make it as difficult to spend as possible so that they can keep the credit that's impossible to use before they drain it bit by bit after 18 months.
Hey one4all - save yourselves the effort of copying and pasting how disappointed you are to learn of my difficulties - you have an appalling, immoral business model with shameful practices. I just spent £ 2 at Boots purely out of spite so that you won't be left with any of my credit. Shame on you.

Don’t buy! I have received one and you can’t activate a card on their site only chip and pin. Checked the balance and it says zero. So downloaded the app only for it to always say ‘Service unavailable’. Contacted with receipt proof but no response. It’s not a one off either, other people I know have had the exact same issues. Avoid. Love2shop have worked so far

Only give this as a gift if you dislike the person you’re giving it to! THE WORST ‘gift’ card ever ! Can’t be used on the shops sites online, can add the difference to it, can’t do anything ! Honestly just use another (a real ) gift company !
